Hello world! This is the blog of a young fool with endless aspirations. I hope you are eager to join me as we journey through the wonders of the world through words.
The blogs posted will have various topics including, but not limited to: life advice, daily experiences, funny stories, and even maybe a few recounts of paranormal experiences. And so much more! So whether you’re looking for some mild entertainment (hopefully entertaining) or some relatable life tips, follow my blog for regular posts. But first, here’s a bit of information about little old me…
I am an older sister of three sisters, and after YEARS of mass amounts of estrogen… a brother. I am the result of a little high school romance, and the lone child of a three-year-long marriage. Needless to say, I have a simultaneously unique and common background that will hopefully allow me to reach out to the hearts of all different types of people. I’ve had two stepparents in my lifetime, and plenty of mild childhood trauma. But realistically, we all do. All in all, my life wasn’t that bad, but we’ll touch on that more in future articles.
I’ve been a high school student, college student, insurance secretary, package handler, café worker, stepmother, cat-mom, and unofficial qualified rambler… 90’s action films are my favorite, trashy comedies are a second, and Bill Murray is my idol. My music preferences range from Weird Al Yankovic (no surprise there), Black Sabbath, Falco, Limp Bizkit, Cardi B, and Mozart. And then some…Books are amazing; mysteries are the best, but self-help ones are my new obsession. Whoohoo for trying to fix your broken self!
I have a nine-year-old cat named Guenivar, who is over 20 Ibs, and gives the most prominent facial expressions I’ve ever seen from an animal. He has sass to the max, and ass to the grass. He is my handsome boy, also known as Lingueni and Fattucini. The little (not so little) bastard has been mentioned in my previous posts, and will likely be mentioned again. So keep an eye out for notes about a land seal with the voice of an airhorn.
Speaking of airhorns… my voice…is something I hate. And I say that because the whole being relatable thing includes relaying my mental issues and insecurities. Like most people, I struggle with SEVERE anxiety and consistent depression. Overthinking is my most prominent hobby, and sleeping is optional…
So there it is, folks. A bit of a choppy, listed insight into me as a person. Thank you for taking the time to get a small glance into the mind of the chaotic author of this site. I look forward to writing for you, and hope you look forward to reading my scribbles. Have a fan-freagin’-tastic day, and an even better life!
